Spiro Douvris is a born and bred resident of Chicago, Illinois and the Founder of Beef Shack. Spiro's life, legacy and food are deeply impacted by his greek roots alongside his Chicagoan birth. A strong believer in allowing processes to take place, Spiro has been inspired by Chicago icon Michael Jordan to"accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying. I’ve always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come.” This mindset allowed Spiro to successfully sell Beef Shack's franchising rights after it had grown enough notoriety to even earn the nickname "home of the cheezy beef".
