Spiro Douvris is a born and bred resident of Chicago, Illinois and the

Founder of Beef Shack. Spiro's life, legacy and food are deeply impacted by his greek roots alongside his Chicagoan birth. A strong believer in allowing processes to take place, Spiro has been

inspired by Chicago icon Michael Jordan to"accept failure,

everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying. I’ve always

believed that if you put in the work, the results will come. ”

This mindset allowed Spiro to successfully sell Beef Shack's franchising rights after it had grown enough notoriety to even earn the nickname "home of the cheezy beef" .
