Chantilly lace designed with a yoke of sheer illusion with the lace appliqued around the shoulderline in an off-shoulder effect, long fitted sleeves of the lace tapering to points over her hands, and a fitting bodice of alternating bands of the satin and lace at the fitted midriff. The very full skirt, accented by panels of the lace, swept into a cathedral train. Her waist length veil of imported silk bridal illusion fell into full graceful tiers from a satin roll wreath and imported French orange blossoms.” Sister Adele, who is a member of SPJST Lodge 66, Waco, presented her beautiful, handmade wedding dress, veil, shoes, and studio photographs to the Czech Heritage Museum in Temple. The dress will be admired for generations as a part of the museum’s collection. Brother Clarence, who was also a member of Lodge 66, Waco, passed away in 1992. —SPJST—

administer the program. “The objective is to see our LEAD team members develop into future paid camp counselors and help guide the next generation of SPJST summer campers.” For 2017, all interested LEAD program candidates will be asked to complete an application. The application process will be followed by an online Skype interview. A total of 10 youth will be accepted into the program for 2017. Those who are selected will begin their leadership regimen by attending and participating in a week-long SPJST training session for SPJST summer camp personnel in June. Participants will receive certifications in multiple areas including CPR, lifeguarding, and first aid. They will return to SPJST ENC in July for three SPJST summer camp sessions during which time they will be assigned to groups and will be relied upon for assistance with daily activities. Service represents a key component of SPJST’s LEAD program. “Helping others — no matter how large or small the act — is important,” says Supreme Lodge President Brian Vanicek. “It can transform lives, communities, and nations. We believe that those young people who complete the LEAD program will develop valuable skills that will continue to serve
