2023 SPJST STATE YOUTH SHOWCASE Dear SPJST Kids,

We hope this letter finds you brimming with enthusiasm and ready to embark on an incredible journey of creativity and self-expression! It is with great pleasure and anticipation that we invite you to participate in the SPJST State Youth Showcase.

Tease your brain, have good family fun, and win cash prizes this summer at SPJST Lodge 81, Needville Hall! Lodge 81 presents Family Trivia Nights on Wednesday, June 28 and Wednesday, July 26.

Grab dinner at the food truck. Eat inside while you play or watch. Drinks and snacks will be on sale inside the hall. Cost is $25 per team - six players max - school-age children count (preK and under are free of charge).

Lodge 84, Dallas Youth Club reports on June meeting

Dear Readers,

The youth of Lodge 84, Dallas continue to meet on a monthly basis. This month, Youth Leader Lynda handed out copies of the SPJST State Youth Showcase guidebook, the tentative SPJST Youth Showcase schedule, flyers with guidelines for 2023 youth group incentives, monthly caring challenges, and quarterly community projects. We reviewed everything and have a plan in place to be able to contribute with all the activities listed.

Youth Leader Lynda then distributed the six Color a Smile pages for the June Caring Challenge activity. She asked us to be creative with our coloring skills and send back to the fraternal department at the Home Office for distribution to senior citizens, our troops, and anyone in need of a smile. Youth Leader Lynda then asked us to join in congratulating Ryan Ruzicka on his graduation from high school and moving on to Texas A&M University to continue his studies!

Lodge 47, Seaton youth welcomes new puppy

Entries must be registered online by June 30. The State Youth Showcase is Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 in Temple.

It is finally June! I think summer break is the best time ever! Okay, maybe not for adults. But for us kids, it is the best time ever! I get to go to a million camps! Ram Camp, Camp Invention, and Vacation Bible School! Maybe only three. Last month, I got a new puppy. Her name is Bailey. She is very funny! We have a dog named Lily. She is also very funny. She and Bailey are battling for the silliest. So far, Lilly is winning. Well, I am getting kind of tired of typing so I’m going to say bye now! Bye!
