- Site design; research; communication with the communities
- Description: This is a non-profit organization. In this internship, I work on an urban revitalization project. Through close communication with community residents, government personnel and partners, such as architectural firms, I learn about the current state of the residents and the design needs of the city at different levels. Through spatial and street design, I bring urban respect and impact to a city that is stigmatized by poverty and danger. Through the landscaping of renowned musician Miles Davis and dancer Katherine Dunham, I would like to create landmarks for the arts and culture of East St. Louis and brought vitality to their home city.
