LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
YEAR'S END
And that, my friends… was 2021. A year that was, well… still very challenging. Yet, through it all, the motorcycle industry did more than persevere. It thrived.

Motorcycle production and sales rose in 2021 with a select few manufacturers marking record sales. That’s only counting the primary market. The secondary market has been booming as well. What does it all mean?
Perhaps something. Perhaps nothing. The moto industry has always had a resilient spirit and drive, surviving droughts and economic plights. So the current status of the industry on both the consumer and manufacturing side is a continuation of that. Or maybe it’s something more. We, as motorcyclists on every level (asphalt assassin, weekend warrior, track day god), are the one true constant across the motorcycle diaspora. Without the rider, where would we be?
Do we even need a reason why the industry is doing well? Can’t we just enjoy the fact that what we love is doing better than good enough? We really don’t. Let’s just celebrate.
2021, it’s been emotional. 2022, let’s get it.
