GIMME’S FIFTH GR1 WINNER

A smart winner of the G2 Cape Merchants last time out, four-year-old Gimme A Prince defied a drop back in trip with a courageous win in Saturday’s R1 250 000 sprint.

Out of the G1 winning Trippi mare Real Princess, Gimme A Prince is bred on the same Gimmethegreenlight/Trippi cross as Gr1 Brentford FC Garden Province Stakes queen She’s A Keeper.

His sire Gimmethegreenlight, South Africa’s Champion

Sire of 2020-2021, is also responsible for the Gr1 winners Gunner, Yulong Prince and multiple Equus Champion Got The Greenlight.

Currently the sire of 49 stakes winners, Gimmethegreenlight is currently heading the General Sires List, by stakes, for the 2022-2023 South African season.
