Cassandra Go - Timeform’s second highest rated older female of 2001 To quote the prestigious publication: “The very smart and notably speedy CASSANDRA GO will not be seen again on the racecourse, but, all being well, she should continue to make her mark on it for many years yet through her offspring, possibly starting in 2004 when the Green Desert foal she is carrying will be a two-year-old. An in-foal Cassandra Go was better than ever as her career drew to a close, and had she continued after the Gr1 July Cup there was every chance she could have added to her six victories (and 119 rating).”

Her highest rated win was in the King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot Timeform wrote: “Cassandra Go was, as usual, handled with great expertise by Michael Roberts, the filly’s partner in all but the first of her seventeen races. Roberts, despite being hampered by a saddle which reported slipped shortly after the stalls opened, soon had Cassandra Go disputing the lead and was quick to maximise her chance. Sent on over a furlong out, she ran on gamely to win.”
