To whom it may concern Anna Purchase – DOB 15/09/1999 With regard to Anna’s application I would like to support and endorse her level of performance within the sport. I am the Development Programme Senior Coordinator at British Athletics and manage the AASE programme to which Anna was selected in 2016-2017. The AASE programme fits within our talent pathway and I am also the Team Manager for the GB Junior International Teams. Anna has achieved excellent progress in 2016 achieving gold medals at the Nottinghamshire County Championships & Nottinghamshire County Schools Championships in her specialist event, the hammer and a silver medal in the Midland Counties Championships. With these performances Anna qualified for the English Schools Championships and finished a credible 4th place earning her selection for the England Midlands School Games team for the 2nd year in a row where she achieved a bronze medal an improvement by 2 places in her last School Games. Anna increased her pb by over 4 metres from 56.05 to 60.51 with the 3 kg hammer. I am the team manager for the England Midlands team and it has been a pleasure to have Anna on my team. Anna has continued to build on the progress she made last year by achieving a pb of 56.96 in the 4kg hammer, her first year in the u20 age group where she is currently ranked 2nd. I would expect Anna to continue to make good progress in 2017 and target the European Junior Championships in Italy as well as national championships.
