Personal Reference for Daniel Mock To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this as coach to Daniel Mock. My name is Mike Beagley and I am the Coaching Director of Falcons Gymnastic Academy. My job allows me the privilege to coach 2 gymnasts that are part of the Senior Great Britain Squad and I have been involved in the national coaching programme for 11 years. Daniel has been a gymnast at Falcons since 2010. He has worked his way through our development system and has for the last 8 years been in the top group with, the Elite Level and Senior GB Gymnasts that I coach. As a gymnast Daniel is one of the hardest working people I know. He has always wanted to be the best he possibly could. This would mean him often doing extra at home and requesting to do more than was asked of him. Daniel is a great competitor and when asked to execute his routines shows his strength of character. He is incredibly consistent and can always been relied on when needed. As a junior gymnast Daniel was the Regional Champion 5 years consecutively. He represented the Regional at the National Championships every year that he was eligible and in 2017 became the National Club level grades British Champion. Daniel has competed twice in America at the Presidential Classic. In Feb 2015 when he was aged 10 competing at level 7 was 8th place all around, and in 2019 aged 14 competing at Level 9 was 1st place all round. In 2019 Daniel was part of the Falcons Men’s Team that competed in the Adams Shield against the other top clubs nationally. This was on the FIG Senior Code where he did not look out of place and showed a great ability to compete under huge pressure. Daniels apparatus strengths are his floor and pommel. For his age he has always been advanced in skills on these apparatus, with his current floor SV 5.4 and his pommel SV 4.2. His greatest attribute is his clean lines, resulting great execution.
