Welcome by Pietro Picozzi
I firmly believe I can be the difference. To achieve success as a person, hard work is inevitable and I always set myself challenging goals with the ambition of being the best that I can be. I am passionate, disciplined and hard-working and endeavour to develop excellent technique on the soccer field. Building on my playing experience is essential, and the knowledge I acquired during my time at Atalanta BC, Italy and then Italia Lega Pro has given me a significant advantage over other scholarship applicants as I developed a style of play associated with Italian football. Subsequently my experience of English football has enabled me to develop an understanding of a comparable, yet more robust style of soccer, and I am incredibly excited about this season as I attempt to win the Boodles ISFA Cup with the Brentwood School First XI. Competition does not scare me, it inspires me and I would be honoured to work with you as I aim to fulfil my true potential.

This is a comment from Brentwood 1st XI 2014/2015 season coach 'Pietro has made a significant impact on the First XI football team this season. Brentwood School is has a strong football reputation which has included several players reaching the Professional ranks, most notably, Frank Lampard. Pietro is an extremely talented player with very good technical skills. He is a creative player with good vision who can score goals or assist them. In his first season at school Pietro has predominantly played in the number 10 role behind the striker in central areas. Although smaller than some players Pietro uses his body well to regain and protect the ball. Before Pietro's arrival I would not think we had a player with similar attribute to him and so we were certainly pleased that he came to Brentwood and decided to join the team. If you would like me to provide further information regarding Pietro Picozzi I would only be too happy to. I can be contacted via phone (07919108326) or e-mail (chris.thurston@watfordfc.com).' Kind Regards Mr Thurston
