MATCH PREVIEW The Swope Park Rangers (3-12-6, 15 points) will conclude a two-game road swing on Friday, visiting Atlanta United 2 (4-13-5, 17 points) in a USL Championship Eastern Conference clash at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. The first meeting between the sides ended in a 1-1 draw at Children’s Mercy Park on May 19. Influential SPR midfielder Felipe Hernandez fired his side ahead after just two minutes, but Atlanta grabbed a 68th-minute equalizer courtesy of Laurence Wyke. Led by second-year head coach and former MLS midfielder Paulo Nagamura, the Rangers are looking to bounce back from a 3-2 road loss at Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC last Saturday. SPR currently occupy last place in the standings, but more than a third of the USL Championship campaign remains for the club to make an upward climb. Leading the way in 2019 is Hernandez, a Sporting KC Academy product who has a team-best eight goals.
