Sporting KC travels to hosts Houston on the road to qualification for the 2011 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Kansas City is one of ten MLS clubs vying for the two play-in berths available for the 98th edition of the domestic tournament, with Wednesday’s winner advancing to host the winner of D.C. United and Philadelphia Union/NE Revolution.
