MATCH PREVIEW The Swope Park Rangers (3-1-3, 12 points) will face OKC Energy FC (1-6-0, 3 points) in Oklahoma City at 7:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, May 5 at Taft Stadium. The Week 8 match-up will be the first time these two teams face each other after last year’s PK showdown in the Western Conference Championship. SPR won on an Adrian Zendajas penalty kick in the 11th round, making it the longest shootout in USL history. SPR is 3-4-1 in competition with OKC, going 1-3-0 in 2016 and 2-1-1 in 2017 as the club claimed back-toback Western Conference Championships. Former Sporting KC goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen left his coaching duties for the Energy FC after the 2017 season and OKC has yet to find their stride in 2018, starting off the season 1-6-0 under new head coach Steve Cooke.
