MATCH PREVIEW The Swope Park Rangers (14-10-8, 7th place) travel to face Sacramento Republic FC (16-7-8, 3rd place) on Wednesday, October 3 at Papa Murphy’s Park. This will be the Rangers first match in 11 days, with their last match ending in a draw at Tulsa Roughnecks FC on September 22. Hadji Barry would score in his eighth-straight match in the 44th minute, but Tulsa would draw level in the 68th minute. This will be SPR’s second time facing Sacramento. The first was on July 10 at Children’s Mercy Park which ended in a 3-1 loss. Sacramento would take all three points and start the Rangers on their eight-game winless streak. Sacramento has already solidified their playoff berth, currently ranking third in the West. The Rangers will look to solidify their own chance at the playoff hunt with a win in Sacramento. The Republic are 8-2-5 at home this season.
