MATCH PREVIEW The Swope Park Rangers (9-6-4, 6th place) will face Orange County SC (10-6-3, 5th place) at Children’s Mercy Park on Wednesday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. CT. This match will be their fourth match of a set of five in 18 days for SPR. The first match in this span was at Seattle Sounders FC 2 on July 5 in a 2-0 victory. Most recently, SPR saw the team’s 15-match home unbeaten streak snapped last Tuesday in a 3-1 loss against Sacramento Republic FC. The third match ended in a 2-1 loss to Portland Timbers FC 2 on the road on Saturday. This will be the first time facing Orange County this season. SPR is 2-1-1 all-time against Orange County, however went winless in both meetings last season. After losing their first match at home in 15 games on July 10, the Rangers will look to bounce back against Orange County SC on Wednesday night.
