MATCH PREVIEW The Swope Park Rangers (13-9-7, 6th place) face Saint Louis FC (11-8-10, 8th place) on Saturday, September 15 at 4:00 p.m. CT at Children’s Mercy Park. The Rangers are on a four-game winning streak and a two-game shutout streak after shutting out OKC Energy FC 1-0 on September 2 and Fresno FC 1-0 on September 9. This will be the Rangers fourth home match of a five-game homestand. This is the third and final match-up for SPR and Saint Louis FC this season. The first match of the season at Children’s Mercy Park ended in a 1-1 draw. When the Rangers faced Saint Louis on the road they dropped the result 2-0 to Saint Louis. Saint Louis does not fare well on the road with a record of 3-6-6 away from home. This I-70 showdown is imperative for Saint Louis as they in the eighth and final playoff spot. The Rangers will look to keep the momentum going from their four-game winning streak as the back-to-back Western Conference Champions fight to improve the club’s playoff position.
