TEAM LIST For a lot of us, snowboarding gives us a sense of belonging, and a sense of community. That sense of community allows us the ability to share a feeling without speaking a single word. That feeling starts when you link your first turns and for most of us, it comes back each time we strap in. Whether you’re hiking a snowy golf course, riding a rope tow in the rain, or riding waist deep powder, it’s there. We feel it in the powder turn that fills in before the next run. We feel it when we tweak that grab just right. We feel it lapping the trees with our friends. Sharing that feeling with each other is the foundation of our community. That feeling surpasses ability levels, riding styles, and number of days ridden; it is felt by everyone that is fortunate enough to experience riding a snowboard. As a brand, it is our mission to help expand our community. We want to work alongside our team riders, ambassadors, media publications, and our retailers to bring more people into the fold. Let’s work together to let go of the ego, to knock down the barrier of entry, and vocalize how amazing our community is.

PARTY PLATTER

The re-think of the Party Platter helps to evolve with snowboarding’s non-stop progression.

PARTY PLATTER Requested by our Team, we’ve redesigned the Party Platter from the ground up with all-terrain enjoyment on the mind. As a brand, it was important for us to stay true to the personality and DNA of the Party Platter; we just wanted to evolve on this model as snowboarding as a whole has continued to evolve. In our re-think of the Party Platter, we’ve updated the Baseline™ to our Combination Camber profile to ensure more energy in and out of turns without sacrificing the loose and surfy feel that the Party Platter is known for. This, coupled with the Ollie Bar™, gives the Party Platter good snap without feeling rigid and dull.

The second step of the process was to extend the running length of the Party Platter to ensure that more edge was on the snow when turning, resulting in a more stable ride. We added volume to the tail to help give some substance to those slashes and aid in riding switch. Lastly, we’ve added more sizes to accommodate riders on the smaller side, starting as small as 138cm. For a shorter, wider board that strikes the balance between performance and playfulness, the Party Platter has all of the benefits needed to bring a whole new dimension for riding and turning your snowboard.

MANIFEST The Manifest is for riders putting their gear through the harshest conditions, weather or not.

An instant Team favorite, the Manifest is fluent in versatility and is truly a one board quiverkiller. A testament to K2â&#x20AC;&#x2122;s commitment to backcountry snowboarding and the freeride category, the Manifest is packed full of some of the best technology in snowboarding - making it agile, stable, and powerful. To perfect our new flagship, we relied heavily on the input from our most demanding Team riders - Curtis Ciszek, Matt Belzile, Jody Wachniak, and Johnny Brady. They spoke and we listened, which helped us solidify the Manifest as a rugged do-it-all snowboard that crushes whatever you put in front of it with unparalleled expertise.

The Manifest pays tribute to fallen K2 Snowboarding rider Aaron Robinson in both name and personality. Dynamic, fun loving, and progressive, the Manifest hits the freeride nail right on the head.

First formed in 2003, the Alliance™ is the most established women’s feedback and design group in the industry. 2019 marks a major turning point in the energy and direction of the Alliance™ with the addition of new members. This new energy can be seen in each in every one of our women’s products.

COLD SHOULDER We know that it might sound a bit cliche, but the Cold Shoulder is truly the one board that can do it all. A Directional Camber Baseline™ helps make the Cold Shoulder feel lively and energetic in and out of turns and stable on hard pack. A set back stance and a slightly tapered outline aids in easy turn initiation and effortless float in powder. Arguably one of the most influential snowboarders of his generation, Jake Kuzyk has carved his own path in snowboarding through originality and staying true to his beliefs - both on and off snow. He’s been a part of K2 Snowboarding for close to a decade and his influence weighs heavy on our brand. Detail oriented in everything that he does, his approach to snowboarding cloaks complexity and power in a seemingly subtle and effortless jacket.

A streamlined take on a classic freestyle snowboard, the Medium is the perfect intersection of refinement and high performance. The concept of the Medium came from the mind of Jake Kuzyk himself. A true snowboarder’s snowboarder, Jake is understated, meticulous, and incredibly hard working, and our engineers set out to mirror those distinctive traits when creating the Medium. Through a few revisions, we worked with Jake to find the perfect combination of a classic outline, a snappy core, and an overall nimble feel - and out came the Medium. A sintered base, snappy trim-blend core, Carbon DarkWeb™, and an bombproof Inked Glass™ topsheet all work together to create a premium twintip that packs a bunch of power and can take on on any task.
