Redesigned and refined for 19/20, the FINDr series is uncompromising in performance with a weight and feature set ski mountaineers and backcountry skiers dream of.

WHY G3? SKIS At G3 we strive to enable the best possible backcountry experience. Each of our skis offers an ideal balance of uphill and downhill performance for its category. Our unique layup uses carbon fibre layers to add power and stability while balancing that stiffness with PU sidewalls to smooth the ride and give a damp downhill feel. But the proof in all of this comes when you get out and just ski ‘em.

SIDEWALLS IN ALL SKIS WHAT IS POLYURETHANE? Polyurethane (or PU) is an elastomeric polymer material known for its energy absorption, durability, and elasticity. It is commonly used in skateboard wheels and racecar bushings to make for a smoother ride. NO MORE CHATTER An inherent problem with carbon and ultralight touring skis is chatter, due to the light and stiff materials used. PU sidewalls counteract this chatter by absorbing that extra energy and creating a more damp ride overall.

MAGNETIC CONTACT POINTS

PREMIUM CARBON FIBRE CONSTRUCTION G3 uses only premium carbon fibre laminates in the FINDr, SEEKr, and SENDr skis. These are the same 100% multi-directional stitch bonded fabrics used in aerospace industries. To optimize the flex, rigidity and power transfer specific to each ski, we meticulously engineer every layer of carbon above and below the core. WET VS. DRY LAYUP G3 starts with dry and flexible sheets of carbon fibre for each ski. This allows us to use exactly the right amount of resin for each ski’s size, weight, and the amount of carbon laminate. Our process minimizes unnecessary resin weight and maximizes the carbon’s contribution to flex, rigidity and power transfer.

3 DIMENSIONAL CORES Every G3 ski has a specific purpose. With that purpose in mind we develop a specialized core profile that focuses the strength and weight of the ski exactly where it is needed. The FINDr features a thinner spine for maximum weight reduction and reduced swingmass, the SEEKr spine is wider to allow for more playfulness in the turn, while the ROAMr and SENDr spine covers almost the full width of the ski for optimal mass distribution and power transfer.

DURABILITY & VERSATILITY The elasticity of PU increases durability by 30% improving protection from sidewall impact when compared to ABS. Using PU in ski construction also allows for a permanent bond to the wood core and a seamless sidewall.

METAL MATTERS TITANAL LAYERS G3’s aggressive SENDr and ROAMr skis pack two full tip-to-tail layers of 7000 series Titanal aluminum for dampness and maximum control at high speeds. TITANAL MOUNTING PLATES Built into G3’s ultralight FINDr & SEEKr skis for optimal mounting integrity to prevent the binding from pulling out in the field.

BUILT TO LAST MATERIALS THAT CAN HANDLE THE ABUSE OF BACKCOUNTRY SKIING Durability and performance are paramount to the G3 design, and we don’t hold back on crucial materials in order to save weight. Hardened corrosion resistant alloy steel edges featured in G3 skis allow for extreme durability and integrity through multiple tunes. FULL THICKNESS BASES While other ski manufacturers may use thinner bases to cut weight, G3 utilizes full thickness Electra 2000 bases for optimal performance in the field. Thicker bases allow multiple tunes to maximize the performance of the ski throughout the life of the product. More importantly, these bases are far less susceptible to impact damage from hidden rocks and other obstacles.

WHY G3? BINDINGS G3 binding design focuses on simplicity, reliability and performance; yielding a superior binding with the most consistent and reliable release and retention. Our end goal is to provide a binding so seamless that you don’t even have to think about it - you just step-in with ease and get the most out of your backcountry experience. REAL WORLD BINDING RETENTION Standard release tests don’t account for many of the real world causes of unwanted binding release. G3 takes binding testing further to ensure consistent step-in and retention that holds up to the very real challenges of snowpacking, boot icing, step-in techniques, high speed chatter and toe jaw pressure.

FEATURES FOCUSED ON PERFORMANCE Our goal at G3 is not to make the lightest gear possible. Our goal is to make the lightest gear possible without sacrificing performance. G3 bindings are stacked with features to meet those performance standards and allow the user to climb up and drop in with confidence. Optimal toe elasticity, forward pressure, fully adjustable vertical and lateral release values, a wide freeride mount, snow clearing design and dependable brakes are just a few of the features that set G3 apart from other lightweight competitors.

WHAT DOES LOCKING OUT DO? Locking the toe is a tour function that eliminates unwanted release while skinning uphill. Many backcountry skiers have adopted the practice of locking out while skiing as a hacked solution for retention inconsistency. Locking the toe while skiing defeats the release mechanism and puts you at risk. ELASTICITY KEEPS YOU IN For most tech bindings, energetic skiing in chattery conditions means unwanted pre-release - this is how the bad habit of skiing with locked out toe pieces was born. As the toe jaws on these bindings partially spread, the force required to release the binding drops drastically, causing unwanted release. G3’s unique toe jaw dynamics flip that trend, absorbing roughly 50% more energy than other tech bindings before releasing. Meaning you can use it for what it was designed for—you skiing confidently in ski mode without the fear of prerelease.

WHERE DOES GRIP COME FROM? It’s one of the seemingly endless questions we ask to challenge the status quo of climbing skin design. Skins that cover the entire base of your skis are overkill and heavy. Most of your skin’s grip comes from just under the binding while fabric on the tip and tail creates unnecessary drag.
