Resistance redefines MTB apparel and gives riders the opportunity to select the precise performance and protection needs for each ride. Progressive fabrics and materials have been combined and integrated into Resistance apparel to increase the level of protection against impacts, penetration, friction, UV and abrasion. The type and level of mountain bike riding has changed significantly in recent years. Speed, technicality, distances have all increased, which has naturally placed greater demands on bikes, riders and equipment. To meet these greater demands, whilst still ensuring increased performance and protection, we wanted to look deeper and re-consider every angle of mountain biking; to create apparel for mountain bikers that is equally at home on the trail with friends as it is competing in World Cup races. The result is Resistance – an MTB range which embodies our mission ‘to do the best we can to possibly save lives and reduce the consequences of accidents.’ Resistance has been developed in conjunction with some of the world’s foremost textile engineers. Progressive fabrics and materials have been combined in the garments to withstand many of the hazards associated with mountain biking, impacts, penetration, friction, UV and abrasion. By using fabrics with a variety of properties and benefits, we have achieved a high level of protection without compromising performance. Mountain biking is diverse, the needs of one rider will differ greatly from another. Resistance has been created around the core mountain bike categories, downhill, enduro and cross country, which all have specific needs and requirements. Flexibility, fit and preference is essential when you ride your bike. Days on the trail or racing are likely to have different needs, which is where Resistance Pro supports riders when their focus needs to be sharp and uncluttered, knowing they can rely on the ultimate in MTB performance and protection.

The Resistance Pro DH Jersey is constructed with a range of advanced fabrics, specifically the strategically placed Cordura reinforcements, water repellent DWR treatment and twin layer fabric on the shoulders and elbows to reduce friction. The Jersey is highly functional and offers excellent moisture management, comfort, quick drying and can be easily used with different VPD protection systems.

The Resistance Pro DH Tee is constructed with a range of advanced fabrics, specifically the strategically placed Cordura reinforcements, water repellent DWR treatment and twin layer fabric on the shoulders to reduce friction. The jersey is highly functional and offers excellent moisture management, comfort, quick drying and can be easily used with different VPD protection systems. The Tee features short sleeves which is ideal for warmer conditions or riding preference.

Downhill mountain biking is fast and requires precise bike control. Strategically placed ceramic fabric, silicon, VPD and EVA ensure that the Resistance Pro DH glove provides the best impact protection possible whilst not compromising on fit and feel. The glove features a ventilated palm with silicon tabs on brake fingers and a velcro adjustment system at the wrist to create the optimal bike feel and control.

The Resistance Pro DH Pant have been constructed with a range of technologies and fabrics to provide the best possible comfort and protection when riding downhill. The Pant features ceramic coated Super Fabric® which combines high durability and low friction and a pre-shaped fit for optimal ride comfort and use with knee pads. The pant is tapered to maximise performance and feel when pedalling and it is ideal for colder or wet days riding. The Pant is reinforced at the rear and has integrated stretch and water repellency. The inclusion of strategically placed mesh and velcro resistant fabric ensures that the pant is perfectly placed to manage the demands of downhill mountainbiking.

The Resistance Pro Enduro Jersey is made from advanced fabrics which offer excellent feel, moisture management and quick drying properties. The jersey also features Cordura reinforced patches on the sleeves for abrasion resistance and some crash protection. The sleeves are also designed for use with elbow pads and the DWR treated lower repels water to keep you dry.

The Resistance Pro Enduro Tee is made from advanced fabrics which offer excellent feel, moisture management and quick drying properties. The tee features shorter sleeves which are ideal for warmer conditions or riding preference. The lower part of the tee has also been DWR treated to easily repel water to keep you dry.

Designed for all-day riding, the Resistance Pro Enduro Shorts are constructed from durable, lightweight and comfortable stretch nylon fabrics which are quick-drying and water repellent. The shorts are ergonomic which provide good flexibility and function and come with reinforced patches for improved abrasion and tear resistance. The shorts have added length to cover the top of your knee pad when pedaling and also features strategically placed inseams to reduce chafing and discomfort while riding. A velcro waist adjustment system provides a secure fit and the soft brushed waistband gives good comfort and moisture management.

The Resistance Pro Enduro Rain Jacket has a specific riding fit with the back and sleeves optimized in length to keep those areas of your body protected from the rain. The 3-layer, DWR-treated fabric is robust and able to withstand rough conditions but still has a low bulk when packed. The sleeves are reinforced with Vectran® to provide abrasion resistance and some crash protection. With a brushed inside collar for comfort and closures at the hem and wrist, the rain jacket is ideal for keeping the weather on the outside.
