ANTI-FOG lens

PREMIUM ANTI-FOG
PREMIUM ANTI-FOG has been developed by a new anti-fog process technique through over a year testing and brought out triple absorbing ability of water vapor (our own comparison analysis) and quad durability (our own comparison analysis.).

The smoke lens offers a natural color reflection and is gentle to the eyes by cutting the glare in the visible light.
Green〔G〕
These colors offer sharp vision for far distances by absorbing the blue and purple light which can make seeing difficult. These colors also offer a high contrast by attenuating the glare.
Blue 〔BL〕& Purple〔PUR〕
These colors absorb the yellow coIor, which is the most glaring light. These coIors are able to do this as they have a high transparent ratio against short wave-length rays.

In the case of an orange-tinted mirror, red and yellow light is reflected and the mirror looks orange on the outside, while it looks blue on the inside because blue light passes through.

SWANS ANTI-FOG LENSES
There are two types of anti-fog lens in SWANS SWIMMING GOGGLES. One is an absorbing type which absorbs water moisture on the lens surface and prevents lens fogging (CP lens). The other lens is a wet type which distributes water moisture evenly over the lens, like a film (Polycarbonate lens). The water film utilizes the clarity of the water, therefore creating clearer vision. With these SWANS ANTI-FOG LENSES, swimmers no longer need to worry about fogging. Dirty lens may lessen the anti-fog effect; therefore it is important for the swimmer to wash gently their goggles after use.

How to test your visual power

1. Place a 3m visual power testing chart at the required distance. 2. Look at the chart and decide the visual power of both eyes. 3. After ascertaining your visual power, consult the following guide in order to select which testing lens to use. Please select your required lens from twelve powers spreading between S-1.50D and S-8.OOD (S-2.00D and S-6.00D). 4. Select the test lens which gives you a visual power of 1.0. If two or more lenses afford you with the same visual power of 1.0 , please select the lens with the smallest dioptry. If you could not obtain a visual power of 1.0 , please select the lens that gives you the best visual power. 5. When testing with the test lenses, please start with a lens of the smallest power. For example, start with S.2.00D and then proceed to S-2.50. 6. Please choose goggles that will cause no strain to your eyes. If you feel no symptoms of either a headache or dizziness after using the goggles after ten to fifteen minutes, then these goggles are right for you.

Advice for astigmatic near-sighted swimmers Though SWANS corrected swimming goggles are exclusively designed for near-sighted swimmers, they may be used by those with a lesser degree of astigmatism.
Advice for swimmers who need different powers between two lenses 1. Please select the lens suitable for each eye. 2. Swimmers whose eyes which are very different in lens power should especially take heed to comment 6 above.
Caution SWANS correction swimming goggles are designed exclusively for use by NEARSIGHTED swimmers only. DO NOT use them for reading or in place of safety glasses.
