BIO

I currently play for my local team the Arfon tennis club and North Wales County team - Under 18's. Since the age of 11, I have been selected and represented my county of North Wales annually in the county cup. It would be an unmissable opportunity to be a student-athlete at an American university not only to study for a degree but to also be able to perfect my tennis ability at some of the worlds finest facilities is an unmissable opportunity.

ACHIEVEMENTS: I represented Isle of Anglesey at the Island Games held on the Isle of Wight where I qualified to the final 16 on merit after winning my single matches. I was 14 at the time in an open men competition with teams from Islands from as far and diverse as Bermuda, Caribbean, Greece and Scandinavia. It was amazing to meet international players. Since aged 11, I have been selected and represented my county (North Wales) annually in the county cup. I qualified through local to national level to represent my county in ‘the Road to Wimbledon’ finals. It was an awesome experience to be part of the Wimbledon competition and to play on courts where some of my all time heroes in tennis have played. I have won a number of tournaments over the years. 1. Why do you want to go in the USA? It would be a fantastic opportunity to be able to attend a university in America with an international academic reputation and diverse student population. To be offered the chance to develop my tennis to become the best that I can be whilst working towards a degree in a university with great sports facilities for students that are considered to be among the best in the world would be tremendously exciting and irresistible.

2. What degree do you want to study? My favorite subject in school is mathematics. I would be interested in studying for a degree in mathematics or some sort of applied mathematics, such as actuarial science.

3. What would you like to achieve over your four years in the USA? I would hope to achieve a degree that would benefit me in the future. It would also be a chance for me to maximize my potential to become the best tennis player I could be with a chance to play and develop my skills every day in the best facilities.
