THANKS TEACHER
Camp Lingua was established in 2000. It began as English lessons for those who traveled to South Florida for the summer and wanted to learn English themselves at Lingua Language Center, but needed their children to do something while they were in class.
We quickly realized how important it was for South Floridians to learn Spanish and for those who came from Spanish speaking households to practice the language and immerse in it.

The following year, we decided to add Spanish for kids living in south Florida through fun and exciting camp activities, as well as daily language classes. Now, we have expanded to teach French.
Campers participate in a variety of camp activities including languages, which open so many doors for their future. Parents love it, yet having fun and creating lifelong memories is important to our campers. That is why we have successfully created the perfect balance between happy camper and happy parents!
Camp Lingua is located at our beautiful 5-acre ranch in the heart of Southwest Ranches. A picturesque ranch nestled between Weston, Davie and Pembroke Pines. Our campers get to experience the true camp experience of a sleepaway camp, without having to sleep away from home. Not only do campers experience all kinds of sports, arts, barn and animal care, horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, archery, paintball, zip line and more, but they also get to engage and build independence, social, team, and leadership skills from ages 5 to 15. Making friends is an extremely important part of camp, and friendships made at Camp Lingua are sure to last! Friends meet up year after year at camp.
We are open year-round, Thanksgiving break, winter and spring. Camps are offered all year even on days when there is no school for teacher planning or holidays. Night camp opens twice a year; Halloween and in April for fun-themed night camp activities. Give us a call to sign up!
Aside from camps, we now offer horseback riding lessons each afternoon during the school year and Saturday mornings. Our riders participate in local horse shows and are welcome to attend Saturday camp where riders build a connection with horses and animals.
An after-school tutoring program is available for those busy working parents who need their kids to be picked up safely from school and brought to our campus for homework help, to study for upcoming tests and quizzes, work on school projects and/or receive one-on-one tutoring to catch up on any given school-subject.
For the sports kid, we offer Sports Club after-school starting in this fall where children learn all about various sports. Offering clinics, drills, rules, sportsmanship, how to be a team player, discipline, responsibility, nutrition, fitness and more while playing fun sports!
For the artistic child, Arts Club in the afternoons is a perfect fit. Children explore arts through different media while learning art history and techniques from around the globe.
Lastly, we offer a Riding Club for horse lovers. This program consists of afternoon riding lessons as well as learning everything that takes place at the barn including grooming, tacking, feeding, training, etc. All our afternoon clubs include transportation from local schools to our campus.
Our campers truly never want to leave, so why not host your child’s birthday with us? Choose between barn, sports or arts theme. We take care of entertainment and cleaning up, you take care of inviting friends and the cake!
Whether you are interested in your child learning a new language, being outdoors, connecting with nature and animals, needing help in school, making friends or developing personal growth, we are here!
