MARK GRANT, CBS Sports, Director

Grant joined CBS Sports in 1998 and serves as a director for CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network. He covers college basketball, including the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, the NFL, college football, and golf. Grant is a five-time Emmy Award winner.

ERIC FREY, Virginia Tech, Assistant AD, ACC Network Operations

Frey joined Virginia Tech’s HokieVision in April of 2018 as assistant AD of ACC Network Operations. He oversees ACC Network and ESPN digital and linear broadcasts that originate from Virginia Tech’s control rooms. Frey is Virginia Tech’s lead director for digital and linear broadcasts for ESPN.

BYRON ABT, Georgia Southern University, Assistant Director of Athletics for GATA Productions

Abt acts as the liaison between ESPN and Georgia Southern University. He oversees the production of ESPN+ events for the Eagles, along with videoboard productions, television shows, and other major digital projects.

JUSTIN ARGO, Texas A&M University, Director of Live Broadcasts

Argo joined the Texas A&M Athletic Department in July 2017 and serves as the director of broadcasts for 12th Man Productions. He oversees all of Texas A&M’s broadcasts and is the primary contact for the ESPN/SEC Network.

ZACK BACON, Texas A&M University Athletics, Chief Broadcast Engineer

Bacon is responsible for the technical operations, monitoring, and management of broadcast and big screen video systems. He is also responsible for the direction and implementation of all new broadcast technologies.

CHRIS BABB, Ouachita Baptist University, Director of Ouachita Sports Digital Network

Babb joined the faculty at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AK, in the fall of 2019 as an instructor in the Rogers Department of Communications and director of student sports media productions.

MIKE BILBOW, University of Georgia, Assistant AD, Digital and Production

Bilbow is responsible for in-stadium video board production, linear and digital television production, web, and other digital content creation. Additionally, Bilbow oversees information technology for the Athletic Association.

MIKE BONNER, Tepper Sports & Entertainment, Senior Director/ Executive Producer – Game Presentation & Production

Bonner has worked for some of the most storied and iconic organizations in sports. He now oversees game presentation for the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte FC, the ACC Football Championship, and Duke’s Mayo Bowl.

RYAN BRODIE, CTI, Branch Director

Brodie is the branch director for CTI in Atlanta, GA. Specializing in broadcast projects, he has been a project manager and engineer for several control room buildouts across the U.S. for clients in the sports and corporate markets.

TIANA BROWN, University of Pennsylvania, Director of Broadcasting & Production

Brown was able to overhaul the broadcast operations post-pandemic by engineering and constructing the department’s first control room, rebuilding the freelance staff, and collaborating with local universities to give students more opportunities.

CASE, Charleston Southern University, Assistant AD of Broadcast Services

For the past six years, Case has used his near two decades of broadcasting experience across radio and television to Charleston Southern University. He oversaw the transition of CSU from Big South Network to the ESPN branded networks.

DAVE CAULWELL, Riedel, Regional Sales Director, East Caulwell leads a tremendous team driving sales efforts and building strong relationships with customers and partners on the east coast of the U.S. He is a trusted and reliable figure in the industry, committed to delivering exceptional results.

CODY CHRUSCIEL, Princeton University, Assistant AD, Multimedia and Broadcasting

Chrusciel oversees Princeton’s creative video content and live broadcast productions for ESPN+ and regional sports networks NBC Sports Philadelphia and SNY while managing the H.G. Levine Broadcast Center.

KEN CLEARY, University of North Carolina, Associate AD – Go Heels Productions Cleary oversees the Go Heels Productions unit of Carolina Athletics. The unit produces more than 200 live broadcasts for the ACC Network and other broadcast partners; studio content; and in-venue productions for 16 sports in seven venues.

ROBERT ERICKSON, TAG Video Systems, VP, Live Production and Sports Erickson is the VP of live production and sports for TAG Video Systems. A member of the TAG team since 2023, he has more than 24 years of experience in the broadcast and IT markets.

JOHN FANTA, FOX Sports, College Basketball Broadcaster and Reporter; Big East Conference, Digital Correspondent Fanta covers college basketball in a variety of capacities, from calling games on FS1 to serving as lead host on the BIG EAST Digital Network to providing commentary on The Field of 68 Media Network.

VALERIE GERFIN, University of South Carolina, Associate Director of Live Productions

Gerfin serves as the associate director of live productions, a role she’s held for the last two years. She is the producer for the venue videoboard shows for football, men’s & women’s basketball, and baseball, as well as assisting as needed in a variety of roles for ESPN/SEC Network broadcasts.

LEAH GILL, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Assistant AD – Digital Media Gill oversees MocsVision, the team responsible for all ESPN+ broadcasts, all in-venue video board presentation, and other video and graphic content production. MocsVision currently produces 65+ broadcasts for ESPN+ each competition year.

GRANTSCOTT GREENE, University of Houston, Assistant AD for Content Solutions

Greene oversees broadcast operations, creative video content, the graphic design team, and video board productions. This is Greene’s second stint at Houston: from 2000-15, he was the Director of Video Operations for the Cougars.

IMRY HALEVI, Harvard University, Associate Director of Athletics –Content & Strategic Communications

Halevi leads Harvard Athletics’ Content & Strategic Communications group, which is charged with promoting Harvard Athletics’ brand, and creating content to preserve the history and tell the story of Harvard’s student-athletes, coaches, and teams.

JEFF HANEL, University of Texas at Austin, Director, Creative Video

Hanel oversees the creative video staff and is currently overseeing Texas’ transition to bringing videoboard productions and SEC Network/ESPN broadcasts internally. All videoboard, linear, and digital broadcasts will originate from the soon-to-be four centralized control rooms that are scheduled to be online in June 2024.

SCOTT HECHT, Big East Conference, Senior Associate Commissioner, Broadcasting

Hecht develops and manages the day to day remote, linear, and digital event planning and operational execution of telecasts for the Big East Conference’s exclusive collegiate programming airing on all Fox Sports, CBS Sports, and FloSports platforms.

KEVIN HESSION, Temple University, Assistant AD, Broadcast Technology & Video Production

Hession is responsible for executing the production of Temple Athletics broadcasts for ESPN and in-venue video boards at the Liacouras Center, McGonigle Hall, and the Temple Sports Complex.

CHRIS HUMPHREYS, Baylor University, Senior Director of BaylorVision Humphreys oversees all aspects of the athletic department’s live sports and in-venue production and on ESPN+, as well as PCR productions in partnership with ESPN linear networks.

JIMMY JOHNSON, Patriot League, Assistant Commissioner for Multimedia Johnson oversees live and on-demand production for the Patriot League on ESPN+. He has increased the Patriot League’s visibility in multimedia by producing weekly on-demand video content for social platforms and streaming partners.

ANDREW KURTZ, Monmouth University, Assistant AD for Live Broadcasting

Kurtz primarily serves as a producer on all broadcasts produced by the Monmouth Digital Network. He has produced over 25 linear and 200 ESPN broadcasts during his time at Monmouth.

PARKER LEPPIEN, Auburn University, Director, Live Operations and Programming Leppien oversees the live operations of War Eagle Productions, which includes video boards, as well as digital and linear broadcasts that originate out of Auburn’s two control rooms.

GREG MACCHIA, Riedel Communications, VP, Business Development, Live Production

Macchia has 25+ years of experience in the live broadcast production industry. Before joining Simplylive in 2017 to manage the region, he was the SVP, Americas for EVS Broadcast Equipment where he spent over 18 years building the Americas sales and technical operations.

VINNIE MACRI, Clear-Com, Senior Market Outreach Manager

Macri oversees the market outreach program at Clear-Com, working directly with consultants, system/sound designers, and end-users to keep them informed of Clear-Com’s latest products and capabilities.

PAUL McANIFF, Canon, Senior Technical Specialist

Now in his 10th year at Canon (minus a seven-year hiatus), McAniff supports Canon’s BCTV and Cinema Optics, Cinema EOS Cameras, PTZ cameras, 4K Reference Displays, and Professional Video Camcorders.

JANEL MOOREFIELD, LiveU, VP of Sales, Sports

Moorefield is responsible for driving the strategy for LiveU’s Sports Group. She has been integral in bringing LiveU Sports solutions to professional teams, sports associations, and production companies.

MIKAYLA MOSTELLER, The Citadel, Director of Video Productions

Mosteller produces all the home broadcasts for The Citadel on ESPN platforms by bringing in freelancers and students to run replay, cameras, graphics, audio, and more on game days.

CORY PALM, Purdue University, Director of Broadcast Services

Palm oversees the livestreaming of more than 120 live events and programs each year while also serving as the primary content provider for broadcast entities around the state of Indiana and throughout the Midwest.

JACOB POTTER, University of Oklahoma, Associate AD, Video Services

Potter is associate AD at the University of Oklahoma, overseeing SoonerVision — the in-house video production team for Oklahoma Athletics. Since 2018, he has overseen Oklahoma’s in-arena and creative video productions.

SCOTT RINEHART, University of Notre Dame, Director, Broadcast and Streaming Technologies

Rinehart is responsible for providing technical direction and oversight of Notre Dame Studios’ production infrastructure. Prior to Notre Dame, Rinehart worked in a variety of roles at NASCAR Media Group and PGA Tour Productions.

COREY SPEIGHTS, University of West Georgia, Director of Digital Experiences

Speights has taken the university to new heights. He is charged with leading all large-scale productions throughout campus including sports, commencement, and other academic broadcasts.

JARED TIMMINS, Diversified, VP of Media Innovation

Timmins leverages his more than 15 years of industry experience to help deliver future-forward solutions for a changing media landscape. He has held leadership positions in strategic account management and business development.

DENNIS TRAPANI, University of Wyoming, Associate AD, Creative Services

Trapani joined Wyoming Athletics in July 2013 as director of video and digital media, and was promoted to his current role as associate director of athletics in 2021. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the WYO-Vision team.

STEFAN TRIBBLE, Ross Video, Solution Specialist – Sports & Live Events

Tribble is a seasoned broadcast professional with a rich background in collegiate sports production. Prior to joining Ross, Tribble held the position of associate director of broadcast operations at Mississippi State Athletics.

MORGAN UBER, American Athletic Conference, Director of Video Communications, Reporter

Uber joined the American Athletic Conference staff as director of video communications and reporter in July of 2021. She is the primary on-camera talent in the promotion of the conference’s 22 sports and 12 member institutions through the creation of video content on The American’s digital platforms.
