My Name is Aayushi gupta and I am a professional Freelancer Makeup and Hairstyle artist. My professional account on Instagram and Facebook is @aayushiglamorousworld. I started my Profession in 2019,before that I was Persuing MBA, I have 2 years of experience in this field. I am certified from Lakme Academy. I have worked with many photographers, Models, Actors and make-up Artists. I do Bridal make up,Party makeup,Fantasy makeup,Fashion, Portfolio , Pre-wedding, events and many more as a freelancer. Mahakali Concept is one of them,this just clicked in my mind as a Navratri theme and I made it just as thought. I always wanted to try Fantasy makeup so I chose Kaali Maa fantasy Makup look on Navratri Special,It’s like a cheery on the Cake. My Model and the Photographer are two main part of this wonderful shoot. The Model has done an amazing job portraying Mahakali,was giving beautiful expressions look like a pure soul and the photographer’s work was just alluring,the amount of time and hard work it took get that one beautiful shot and it was surreal. It was an amazing experience trying out a whole new concept and with some amazing people involved in this Shoot and One more thing I want to add that my mentor and model’s mentor Mr. Tapas Das sir has helped us out a-lot and supported us making this concept a reality.

Mahakali The Goddess

Goddess Kali is regarded as the most fierce and destructive form of Shakti. She has a dark complexion, red eyes and has four arms. Shakti in the form of Goddess Durga was summoned to kill the demon. Mahakali Represents supremacy of Nature over man because Shiva lying at Kali's feet at the time of Rakta Beej known as “demon”. It clearly shows that without Kali or Shakti even a powerful force like Lord Shiva is unable to move. Mahakali also represents Women power how women reacts when a demon like rakta beej doing something evil and How to stop it. She destroys the evil in order to protect the innocent. Durga is a form of kali which we workship in navratri festival , On another hand Kali's blackness which is symbolic of eternal darkness and which has the potential to both destroy and create. Navratri is a festival which celebrates the victory of good over evil and is celebrated in various ways all over India. Devotees observe fasts, while there are also dandia and garba functions. It is also during this time that Durga Puja is celebrated, which is festival of the Bengalis and people can see all kinds of creative pandals during these days. In art, Kali in her feminine form is most often portrayed with blue or black skin, naked, and wearing a Bengali type crown of clay which is painted or gilded. She is, like many Hindu deities, a multiple-armed figure with the number of arms being four, eight, ten, twelve, or even eighteen. Each arm usually holds an object and these can include a sword, dagger, trident, cup, drum, chakra, lotus bud, whip, noose, bell, and shield. Sometimes her left hand forms the abhaya mudra, whilst the right makes the offering varada mudra. She is often represented seated with legs crossed and having eight feet. She represents nature at its rawest and most untamed. She is the culmination of all that is strength and power. She is loving without being devoted. She is the ultimate mother—the mother of all power—without being reduced to the role of a mother.
