My name is Aakansha Tiwari from delhi. i am in 3rd year in Delhi University and I am a freelance model. Apart from this I am also a NCC (national cadet corps) cadet, as I also love this field, I know ncc and modling are very different fields, but I wanted to make an example that woman can do everything in every field.

I did many shoots with famous makeup artists and photographers as I am also a face model. I did designer shoots as well for designer outfits. I also did ramp shows like "Pride of Hindustan", Sumit chawla designer show, Global fashion week at mMarvah studio etc.

Recently I am selecting for first miss india 2021 in 30 finalist all over India, final held in Goa. It was actually a dream come true for me and I am really thankful to Tapas Das sir, my mentor for this opportunity.

From my childhood I love dancing, acting and modeling, and I used to see myself like a diva. I want to make career in this field, as I don't have any background, also my parents don't want me to go in this field, but I am very desperate about this field, so I convinced my parents. It took a long time but finally i started modling from my college when I am in 1st year (2019). I joined fashion society of my college, I just gave audition randomly, and got selected. From there it started more interest in modling, and then covid happen and we all know what happen to us.

A lot of people put me down , about this field, this field is not for me, because I didn't do what they wanted, so they stated making me negative.

At a certain point of time, I wanted to leave this field and then miracle happened. One day I am using instagram, and I met the owner of DCT model management of Delhi ( Tapas Das). As I am new , I really don't know how to grow in this field, and he helped me a lot in this. He groomed me very well in the lockdown period as I had a proper time to groom myself. Tapas sir actually a blessing for me, he helped me a lot , not only this, he has also got me many projects after lockdown and I m greatful to him for that. Whenever I feel demotivated or low I just called Tapas sir and he actually helped me a lot to be motivated.

I still have a lot of work to do and I think it's all my starting now. I have to work very hard to achieve more and make my parents proud. And last I just wanted to say do what makes your soul happy. There will be many challenges but you always have to fight it. You will face lot of rejections but you have to face it because rejection teaches a lot.
