The two-day affair includes a dance party on Friday evening featuring a DJ set starting at 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, there’s a cocktail reception, dinner, and live music. Enjoy a live auction with unique art, experiences, and other items up for bidding. The Midsummer Dance and Dinner attracts a wide range of notable attendees, including artists and celebrities. This year’s honorees include Eddie Martinez, Sam Moyer, Hank Willis Thomas, and Robin and Fred Seegal.

The Hamptons Tea Dance is a celebration of diversity and inclusion. The largest gay event on the East End, it brings together more than 1,000 LGBT+ New Yorkers and their allies. The afternoon revel features live entertainment, dancing, food, and drink. This year, the dance benefits CallenLorde and SAGE, which support LGBT+ elders and acknowledges their struggle for equality.

This benefit is an immersive art experience and fundraising event. It showcases the work of emerging and established artists from around the world, with a focus on performance art, dance, and experimental theater. the BODY | The Watermill Center’s Annual Summer features live performances, installations, and immersive environments. In addition to the art experience, the summer benefit also includes a cocktail reception, dinner, and a live auction.
Guild Hall Summer Gala
Friday, August 4 plates and hors d’oeuvres in a fun modern setting. Dancing and a paddle auction, with celebrity auctioneer Lydia Fenet, will complete the evening. Laura Lofaro Freeman and Ros L’Esperance will be chairing the gala. Steven Stolman will serve as design director.
East Hampton Library’s Authors Night

Authors Night is one of the most prestigious literary events of the season. The program includes a star-studded ensemble of authors, who participate in book signings, discussions, and meet-and-greets with attendees. The authors come from a range of genres, including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and children’s literature. In addition to the author appearances, Authors Night also features a cocktail reception and a book sale. A portion of the proceeds benefit the East Hampton Library’s programs and initiatives.
This event in Water Mill highlights LGBT+ youth and their accomplishments, and it raises funds to support HetrickMartin Institute’s programs and services. The evening includes cocktails and “Best of the Hamptons” dinner, featuring courses from some of the most popular restaurants in the area HMI offers a range of programs and services to LGBT+ youth, including counseling and mental health services and educational support.
The Summer Gala is a visual and choral ode to the radiant work of artists and captures the beauty of the Hamptons’ golden hour. Each year, the Summer Gala honors a notable individual in the arts or cultural community. Attendees mingle with artists, curators, and members of the cultural community, while enjoying the scenic Mulford Farm in East Hampton.
