By SPOTLIGHT STAFF news@spotlightnews.com LOUDONVILLE — Just north of the city of Albany, this hamlet continues to be the home of some of the county’s wealthiest families, but there’s more to this neighborhood than that. Siena College is a breadbasket of knowledge and has educated many of the movers and shakers of our area’s financial district. As we learned, the school is not resting upon its well earned reputation. It’s actively seeking out ways to modernize its curriculum to attract more students. We also learned that a favorite summer pastime owes a debt of gratitude to three area manufacturers who call this place home. Between the three of them, they are the largest pool makers in the country, and major players in a global market.
