The Discovery Canyon softball team traveled to Palmer Ridge High School in Monument on Sept. 2. After a busy second inning, the Thunder took an 8-1 lead before Palmer Ridge rallied and closed the gap 8-6. But Discovery Canyon took charge again to ultimately win 12-7.
