Depending on the time of year, various types of flowers and shrubs are in bloom. Many of these plants are native to the state of Missouri and have been showing their colors long before Missouri became a state. The state flower of Missouri is the Dogwood. On your trip through the park take time to note the numerous types of each variety which you venture across.
