New employees can be fresh graduates from a college who are not at all familiar with a professional culture or even experienced employees who are totally unaware of the current company policies. A present employee of the company can well be put as a buddy for the new joinees. The best would be if they are from the same team. The buddy will help them to familiarize with coworkers, current project, policies and even office hangout places.
2. Induction programs Induction programs are another way to familiarize new employees with office policies including work timings, HR policies, accounts policies, leave policies, performance and appraisals etc. This is a perfect eye-opener for the new hires.
3. Outings to make them familiarize with new city Team dine-outs or sport outings or casual hangout meetings are the best methods to make new hires familiarize with new city and get to gel with coworkers. This is the most effective indirect way of bringing out productivity from them.
