BIO

Ira Stewart Wiesner is founder of Advocates in Aging, Sarasota’s first dedicated Elder Law firm. For almost 40 years he has guided clients on issues of aging and disability, preserving assets and accessing care. He was a founding member and Chair of the Florida Bar Elder Law Section. Ira’s contributions to the emerging field earned him election as President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and selection as a Fellow of the Academy.
