Healthcare

Regional Medical Center is a critical regional asset that employers and employees consider when relocating. As our partners are dedicated to our communities, Regional Medical Center is also committed to the health and healing of our communities. The region is also home to many other healthcare resources such as: Chiropractic, Fitness, Dental, Physical Therapy, and Vision. The Good Neighbor Society, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), encompasses independent living, assisted living, post hospital rehab, memory care, long term care and hospice care all on one campus. They continually look for ways to enhance lives and to find areas of need in our community. When an area of need is identified, partners like you are convened to create a common goal.

Workforce

DCED works with employers by assessing the local business climate, offering assistance to employers through meetings or actions pertaining to economic development. Some of these actions include assistance with job training programs, job postings, and other appropriate activity to expansion, relocation, recruitment, and attract targeted industry to increase local tax base, sales tax collection and to create or retain jobs.

Tourism

Our partners and their employees do not have far to go for something to see and do. Delaware County has beautiful scenery, unique culture, exciting recreation, shopping, and annual events. DCED and our partners work together to provide many attractions to enhance the quality of life for our employees, residents, and visitors. www.delawarecountyiowatourism.com
