RTA Cookbooks are in!!!
The RTA has created a cookbook with all sorts of yummy recipes!! They are $15 each or 2 for $25 and 100% of the proceeds goes toward the RTA! The recipes were given by ECIA and RTA staff which include salads, main meals, desserts and much, much more!! Beat the Heat! With summer upon us it is important to stay safe in the heat. Here are some tips for staying cool and avoiding heat stroke: Drink plenty of fluids Wear appropriate clothing & sunscreen Pace yourself and take your time! Avoid hot & heavy meals If you feel lightheaded, dizzy or confused get help immediately! Drink some fluids, get into the shade and ask for help!

RTA wins Federal Transit Administration Award for Excellence!! The RTA has won the Federal Transit Administration Award for Excellence for FY 2009-FY 2010 among Rural Regional Transit Systems in the State of Iowa!! Excellence includes a notable increase in passenger ridership (9.83%) and decrease in cost per ride (12.84%)
