CONCLUSION All elements analyzed suggest that Gardens by the Bay can be interpreted as both City as an Organism and City as a Machine. Each element plays a fundamental role in the overall function of the park, much like how human organs play a role in the functions of the human body. The elements can also be interpreted as individual parts of a whole, where the machine – the park - will still operate if one part is fragmented.
