Confession and Absolution of Sin
Deacon
Most merciful God,
People we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Healing
The Church’s Sacramental Ministry of Healing with the Laying on of Hands and Anointing with Prayer is offered today. If you would like to receive this ministry, make your way to the St. John’s Chapel after receiving Communion. Tell the Brother your name and briefly describe for whom or what you would have him pray.
A Note about Holy Communion
We welcome you to Holy Communion. Gluten-free bread is available; please indicate to your server.
It is not our practice to intinct (dip) the bread into the wine. If you wish to abstain from receiving from the Chalice, remember that the Church catholic has always taught that the fullness of the Sacrament is received even when only one form is received.
Post-Communion Hymn Go forth for God; go to the world in peace Hymnal 347
Prayer after Communion
Presider Eternal God,
People heavenly Father, you have graciously accepted us as living members of your Son our Savior Jesus Christ, and you have fed us with spiritual food in the Sacrament of his Body and Blood. Send us now into the world in peace, and grant us strength and courage to love and serve you with gladness and singleness of heart; through Christ our Lord. Amen.
