WHAT IS INTERACT? Interact is a club for young people ages 12 to 18 that empowers them to take action, become leaders, and gain a global perspective. Each Interact club is sponsored by a Rotary club, and there is no fee to charter a club.

Motto “Service Above Self.”

THE GOALS OF INTERACT 1. To recognize and develop constructive leadership and personal integrity. 2. To encourage and practice thoughtfulness of and helpfulness to others. 3. To create an awareness of the importance of home and family. 4. To build respect for the rights of others, based on recognition of the worth of each individual. 5. To emphasize acceptance of individual responsibility as the basis of personal success, community improvement, and group achievement. 6. To develop life skills including self development, time management, and personal finances. 7. To recognize the dignity and value of all useful occupations as opportunities to serve society. 8. To provide opportunities for gaining increased knowledge and understanding of community, national, and world affairs. 9. To open avenues of personal and group action leading to the advancement of international understanding and goodwill toward all peoples. NOMADIC

ROTARY INTERNATIONAL THEME

District Governor Haresh Ramchandani & First Lady Vindu The district governor supports all programs and activities in the district. The governor approves new Interact clubs and co-sponsorship of Interact clubs and appoints the district Interact chair and other leaders.

District Interact Chair Rema Burrow Martin The district Interact chair administers the Interact program and ensures that all clubs submit contact information to Rotary International every year. The Interact chair finds innovative ways to connect Interact clubs with one another and to strengthen the link between Interact and Rotary.

ROTARACT DISTRICT 7020 THEME District Rotaract Representative Paul Thompson The district Rotaract representative is a Rotaractor elected by the Rotaract clubs in the district. The district Rotaract representative is the liaison between Rotaract and Rotary clubs, the district Rotaract committee, and Rotary International.

District Interact Chair (Rotaract) Trisha Davis The district Rotaract Interact chair administers the Interact program on behalf of the Rotaract District. The Interact chair finds innovative ways to connect Interact clubs with one another and to strengthen the link between Interact and Rotaract.

Every month InterAction will feature a country in our district & highlight the great work being done by our Interactors.
