Dear Reader,

There will come a time when each of us will struggle, and it is then that our relationships matter most. The people around us, family and friends and even strangers willing to share a kind word, can change our paths in subtle yet powerful ways. In this edition of Fire & Stones, we explore the influence that people can have on our surroundings and on our lives. We look into the interactions that have made us who we are and what we will become. We hope this inspires reflection upon your own relationships, as well as the initiative to be there for others.

This magazine is the product of the hard work of many: the student editorial staff, our faculty advisors, the school administration, and, of course, the people who submitted their art and writing.
