Let’s Get Started
Our admissions process begins by building a relationship with your family. Each step allows us to get to know your daughter and to better understand her cognitive, social and emotional readiness for St. Catherine’s School.
1
Submit an application To get started, visit www.st.catherines.org/apply and complete an online application.
2
Attend Discovery Day We will provide a fun session for your daughter to become comfortable in our classrooms before she returns to campus for a Student Readiness Day.
3
Schedule testing for your daughter You’ll receive a testing form regarding the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence IV (WPPSI-IV) assessment. This test will be administered by a licensed psychologist at St. Catherine’s School.
4
Attend Student Readiness Day We will schedule a time for you and your daughter to visit campus to assess her readiness for our School. Modeled on familiar school routines, your daughter will interact one-on-one with our Lower School teachers and with other girls in group play.
5
Request a recommendation from your daughter’s current school You’ll receive a release form granting St. Catherine’s permission to contact your daughter’s teacher. We will then send a confidential form to her teacher to help us gain valuable insights about your daughter’s early childhood experience.
St. Catherine’s admits students without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation or national or ethnic origin to all the rights, the privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to the students of the School.
