MAKE AN IMPACT
UMCOR SUNDAY MARCH 9, 2025
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) supports those affected by disasters—famine, hurricanes, war, floods, fires—to alleviate suffering and provide hope. UMCOR offers relief and long-term recovery grants when communities cannot recover alone. Annually, on UMCOR Sunday, Methodist churches collect special offerings. These donations cover operational costs, ensuring 100% of emergency appeal donations go directly to affected communities’ needs. You can learn more about UMCOR at stlukesumc.com/aboutumcor
I LOVE MY CITY MARCH 22 | INDIANAPOLIS
We are under two weeks away from I Love My City! This year, it is easier than ever to be a part of this annual day of serving. First, you can sign up to serve at one of many service opportunities. Second, you can give by donating blood at the blood drive or by donating financially to support the service projects. Third, you can help us collect by donating individually packed snacks, new and gently used shoes and youth clothing. To learn more and register for this day of serving, head to stlukesumc.com/city

Affirmation of Faith | Rev. Dr. Eve Mugambi
Leader: Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is the one true church, apostolic and universal, whose holy faith let us now declare:
All: We believe in the one God, maker and ruler of all things, the source of all goodness and beauty, all truth and love. We believe in Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, our teacher, example, and Redeemer, the Savior of the world. We believe in the Holy Spirit, God present with us for guidance, for comfort, and for strength. We believe in the forgiveness of sins, in the life of love and prayer, and in grace equal to every need. We believe in the Word of God contained in the Old and New Testaments as the sufficient rule both of faith and of practice. We believe in the Church as the fellowship, for worship and for service, of all who are united to the living Lord. We believe in the kingdom of God as the divine rule in human society, in the final triumph of righteousness, and in the life everlasting. Amen.
