How long, O Lord? Will you forget me for ever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I bear pain in my soul, And have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? (Refrain)
Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; Lighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; Lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him”; Lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. But I trusted in your steadfast love; My heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, For the Lord has dealt bountifully with me. (Refrain)

PRAYER TIME & THE LORD’S PRAYER Mindie Moore Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen. * standing, as able
ANNOUNCEMENTS SACRAMENT of BAPTISM (9:30 & 11AM) OFFERTORY O Come, O Come, Emmanuel | arr. William Cutter Mary Lucht, soloist (8:15AM) There Shall a Star Come Out of Jacob | Felix Mendelssohn Chancel Choir (9:30 & 11AM)
* PRAISE to GOD | (Doxology sung to GREENSLEEVES) Praise God, from whom all blessings flow. Praise God, all creatures here below. Praise God above, ye heavenly host. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. This, this is Christ the king, Whom shepherds guard and angels sing; Haste, haste to bring him laud, The babe, the son of Mary.
* OFFERTORY PRAYER SCRIPTURE | Romans 8:18-25 Lori Thomas (8:15AM) Tom Elam (9:30AM) Marti Hunsucker (11AM) I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and will obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning in labor pains until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly while we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what is seen? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
