STATIONS OF THE CROSS - NORTH INDY, NARTHEX NOW THRU GOOD FRIDAY

During Lent, Christians have walked the way of the cross as a spiritual practice for centuries to prepare for Holy Week and Easter. “Everyone’s Way of the Cross” invites you to go through the stations at your own pace. Stop at each station in or just stop at the ones that draw you in. Go slowly. Linger to allow the Spirit of God to use these experiences to speak uniquely to you. Open March 17-29, any time the church is open.

Hey St. Luke’s! Ready to be all in? This summer, we’re hosting hundreds of kids—some regulars, some new faces. We hold the power to shape their futures, but we need YOU. It’s an all-handson-deck moment. We refuse to turn kids away from VBS. Every middle schooler at Mayhem deserves a mentor. Every child at Freedom School should feel our embrace. But to make this happen, we need more volunteers now. It’s on us. Let’s be all in, together! Register now at stlukesumc.com/allin24

Together, let’s alleviate the stress and strain on these families. Join our diaper drive today and be a beacon of hope for our community. Every contribution counts.

ORDER OF WORSHIP

Prelude | Jim Butz, Jeff Rodgers, Michael Conley

Bringing in the Light | Lucy Vannatta

Welcome | Rev. Rob Fuquay

Opening Hymn | God of Grace and God of Glory #577 (4vs)

Prayer of Confession / Assurance of Pardon

All: O Lord, you are our shepherd and yet we want. We lie down when we could act, and we wander tempting paths instead of following you. We see courage and comfort in earthly things rather than in you, and we see scarcity even when you offer us abundance. We pray for forgiveness, for your goodness and mercy, so that we follow You, in your grace. Hear us now as we offer our own prayers...

Leader: Hear the Good news. God hears our prayers and invites us to live in his light of hope and love. In the name of Jesus Christ you are forgiven!

All: In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. Amen.
