HUMAN SEXUALITY, THE BIBLE & THE CHURCH | May 8, 15, 23 6:15 – 7:45PM • Great Hall Led by Pastor Rob Fuquay, this class explores controversial Bible passages dealing with human sexuality, looks at historical & cultural understandings of homosexuality and the church, listens to stories from our LGBTQ members and families and provides round table discussion. Dates for this three part class: two Wednesdays and one Thursday. Optional dinner from 5:30-6:15 ($5). No registration needed. 13th – THE DOCUMENTARY | May 10 & 31 • 6:30 – 9PM • Fellowship Hall This movie explores race, justice and mass incarceration in the US and how our prisons are disproportionately filled with African Americans. SERVE… UMW FOOD DRIVE This semi-annual food drive supports local food pantries! Grab a grocery bag in the West Passage and return to one of the wooden bins at either end the West Passage by next Sunday. FEED EVERYONE Consider rescuing food to feed veterans! Drivers needed to pick up food from Trader Joes (2902 W. 86th) on the third Sunday of the month and deliver to Hoosier Veteran’s Assistance Foundation (3731 Station St.).
