Run by volunteers, 100% of the profits from sales support housing security in our community through Hub for Hope. We are currently seeking volunteers to work one Sunday per month - training will be provided and we have 2 shifts on Sunday morning: 8:50-10:50 and 10:50 to noon. The store is closed during services. Whether they’re preschool or elementary-aged, kids will move to follow Jesus Here, There, and Everywhere with this engaging, hands-on Vacation Bible School program. Kids will enjoy lessons, games, crafts, snacks, serving opportunities, and more! Scholarships are available. $50 full day/$150 max, $25 for half day/$75 max and scholarships are available. This week-long day camp gives middle schoolers (5th-8th grade) a chance to form new friendships, serve alongside their peers, learn more about faith in worship times designed specifically for them, and play all kinds of insane games. This year’s theme is Medieval Mayhem! We will talk about what it means to us that Jesus is “king,” debunking the bad narratives we’ve heard of kings and learning about the selflessness of the kingdom Jesus talks about. The Dementia Friends Workshop seeks to build awareness of and break down stigmas surrounding various forms of dementia. People with dementia need to be understood and supported in their communities. FREEDOM SCHOOL
JUNE 20 – JULY 28 • NORTH INDY CAMPUS Freedom Schools are summer programs designed to increase literacy, self-esteem, socio-emotional skills, and a love of learning for children in elementary school. We disrupt the summer learning slide by keeping scholars engaged and stimulated. St. Luke’s is hosting its second Freedom School help children of Washington Twp. discover their potential and greatness, utilizing books and curricula that celebrate the cultures and contributions of people of color.
