STORYTELLING AND SOUL CARE July 13, 7PM; July 14, 3PM AND July 17, 7PM • Zoom We care for souls, our own, and others so we are offering opportunities for people on the front lines of the virus to share their stories of how they are feeling and dealing with what they face. We will begin with prayer, followed by introductions and time for participants simply to share their stories. A list of counselors will be available for any who might want to consider counseling. Register at stlukesumc.com and a zoom link will be sent. Other low contact activities will be included too, so bring a friend! Spots are limited – register at stlukesumc.com. Questions or interested in volunteering? Contact Heather Kenison at kenisonh@stlukesumc.com.

THE NEXT QUESTION DISCUSSION GROUP Thursdays, July 23 – Nov. 12 • 6:30 – 8PM Want to engage in conversation on the real topics of race and justice? This video web series engages leaders, activists, creatives, and thinkers imagining how expansive racial justice can be. Register at stlukesumc.com to receive a Zoom link. MIDDLE SCHOOL MOVIE NIGHT | July 31 • 7 – 9PM • Parking lot Bring your own chair, snacks and mask and we will have G or PG movies for the students to vote on watching. There will be low-contact activities and popcorn served by an adult. It’s a great time to bring a friend, so be sure to register them, too, at stlukesumc.com! Spots are limited. Questions? Email Heather at kenisonh@stlukesumc.com. THE WELL | Thursdays • 9PM • Facebook Live We recently started our new series Footprints: Finding God’s Presence in Conversations on Race. We will respond to Pastor Mindie’s book study on I’m still Here. We will share in unfiltered and unscripted conversations on faith, race and sisterhood – trusting that God‘s footprints will be seen in the midst.

GO in service to others… BACK TO SCHOOL EXTRAVAGANZA In a season when many churches have had to pull back – St. Luke’s is going ALL IN. Back to School Extravaganza is changing but still responding to God’s call in powerful ways. We’ve partnered with Washington Township schools and are raising $60,000, to provide school supplies not for 1,000 students but for 4,000 students registered for free or reduced lunch in the district. So go ALL IN with us this year by donating financially, adopting a classroom with your small group to support students all year or signing up to pack school supplies on July 27, 28 or 29. Please email outreach@stlukesumc. com if interested. Together, let’s not make this the year COVID-19 disrupted school but the year that St. Luke’s went ALL IN. BECOMING AN ANTI-RACIST ONE DAY AT A TIME Transform yourself and the world by taking an anti-racist step every day. Find very doable steps, some take as little as 5 minutes, on the St. Luke’s Facebook page and the St. Luke’s website under Luke’s Online/Adult Discipleship/Becoming an Anti Racist Resources. FAMILY FUN NIGHTS | Fridays through August • 5PM Deliver a Chef Joseph-prepared hot meal and family activity to foodinsecure neighbors in Washington Township. Provide an opportunity for family togetherness, hope and the love of Jesus to our neighbors. Join our delivery fleet on our Luke’s Online website page.

CONNECTIONS BOOKS & GIFTS At Easter, Connections raised over $800 for food and shelter locally during the pandemic!
