LIGHTING of ALTAR CANDLE HYMN Great Is Thy Faithfulness | No. 140

LITANY Based on Isaiah 41 Leader: Loving God, You know our lives have changed over the past few months in ways we would have never imagined. Yet, in the midst of anxiety, and uncertainty, we proclaim with faith... All: Our God is in Control Leader: As you lead us towards the path of justice, we recognize that this journey may be one we’ve never taken before and don’t always know the next right step. And yet, we keep moving because All: Our God is in Control Leader: God, our hearts break as a global pandemic and natural disasters continue to devastate the lives of so many. We struggle to find hope among the ruins and yet we cast all our cares on you because All: Our God is in Control Leader: As we worship today and gather to connect to you and serve your people- May we always remember that You O God, are in Control. All: Help us to let go of our anxieties and let You, God, be in Control. Leader: Amen

PRAYER TIME & THE LORD’S PRAYER Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
