The Middle School Ministry is going on an overnight retreat to Bradford Woods! Retreats are an incredible way for students to get out of their normal routines, connect deeply with their church friends, have a ton of fun, and grow deeper in their faith. We will meet at the Lodge for pizza at 5:30pm on Friday the 28th. Come to sleep in cabins, play tons of games, have lots of great teaching and small group time, and have a blast together. $65 pays for lodging, transportation, and three meals. The High School Ministry is taking a Saturday to hike, kayak, play games and spend intentional time welcoming current 8th graders into the HS Ministry at Eagle Creek! This is a great way for 8th graders to do their first HS activity and get to know some older students. Current high school students will enjoy this fun day with their peers. Teen Responders is hosting the third Teen Mental Health Crisis Response Workshop, designed to help teens have the tools, skills, and resources to care for their own mental health and respond to their peers in crisis. An adult workshop will happen simultaneously to help adults be empowered to care well for the mental health of the teens in their lives. The workshop is interactive and informative, and each teen participant will leave with a Mental Health Response Kit filled with small items to help them care for their own mental health as well.
