CONNECTIONS BOOKSTORE OPEN SUNDAYS • 9AM - NOON Located outside the main sanctuary, Connections is a place to find inspirational gifts, books authored by our pastors, Bibles, and devotionals. Support our local community by shopping at Connections. The store is run by volunteers, and the profits fund local community members in need. Stop in on Sundays from 9AM to noon for your graduation gifts! STARTING POINT TODAY • 10:45AM & 12:15PM Starting Point is a casual conversation for those new to St. Luke’s. Gain an orientation to St. Luke’s and leave with recommended next steps to help you find your place within the church. It’s also a great way to meet others who are new and find community! No registration is needed. Just show up! We can’t wait to meet you! This is 30-minute class held in the Community Room, across from the church office. The next online class is Wednesday, July 14 at 7PM.

ELDERBERRIES (55+) PICNIC & A SHOW THURSDAY • JUNE 17 • 6-7PM Are you 55 or older and looking to connect with others in your same life stage? Join us for a picnic and a show on Thursday, June 17 from 6 to 7PM under the tent! We know it’s been long overdue, and we can’t wait to be able to gather again safely for a meal from Chef Joesph and musical guest (TBD). The menu will be pulled pork, baked beans, chips, veggies, and dessert! It’s only $5.00, and you can register online at stlukesumc.com/registration/ ElderberrySummer or call into the office. Feel free to invite guests, and we look forward to seeing you! SUMMER CELEBRATION ON THE LABYRINTH SUNDAY, JUNE 20 • 7-9:30PM • ST. LUKE’S LABYRINTH Our daylily labyrinth will be in full bloom and you are invited to stop by for 15 minutes or a couple of hours to celebrate the beauty of God’s creation. Bring a lawn chair and a music maker (flute, drum, tambourine, etc), walk the labyrinth, meet new people, and enjoy the summer evening. Kids love the labyrinth so bring them too. Stay and see the fireflies come out. It’s magical! Park by Luke’s Lodge, walk around building, down the steps, across the bridge and into the neighborhood behind St. Luke’s. MIDDLE SCHOOL MAYHEM MONDAY-FRIDAY • JUNE 21-25 Students entering 5th-8th graders this fall are invited to our FAVORITE event of the year: Middle School Mayhem! The theme is “Olympics: Mayhem.” This fun and exciting Day Camp consists of worship, group competitions, snacks, service projects, and time for a message and reflection in “crews” of 10 students and leaders. There are morning and full-day options for $30 or $100 for the entire week. It’s $30 for morning or $100 for full day. Scholarships are available. Thanks to a partnership with Trusted Mentors and Storytelling Arts of Indiana, we can hear firsthand stories about life before prison, life inside prison, and what life is like now on the outside. Learn about our prison system and how you can get involved in many of the organizations that provide services both inside and outside of prisons. THE ART OF FOOD OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SATURDAY, JULY 17 • 12PM • GARFIELD PARK Meet at the Garfield Park shelter. Your registration cost will cover takeout lunch from Pull Up BBQ, which we will enjoy in the park as we learn about this Indianapolis neighborhood. After lunch, we will visit the Garfield Park Art

SERVE OTHERS URGENT NEED CARE VOLUNTEERS Each week, we care for hundreds of members in a myriad of ways. Recently, our need for visitation volunteers has increased and we’re looking for people who can meet with those currently living in a healthcare center, assisted living or confined to their home, to pray and/or just spend time with those individuals.
