GIVE TO THE MISSION

At St. Luke’s we recognize everything we have comes from God, and we are simply sharing these gifts to grow His kingdom. Through tithes and offerings, we are able to show in a tangible way our love for God and our community. When you choose to give to support the ministries of St. Luke's, you are giving to life transformation, inclusive ministry work, local outreach, and so much more! We give for many reasons, but ultimately annual giving makes possible: online and in-person worship, programs for children and students, Bible studies, small groups, pastoral care and support, mission trips, community service, and building and operational needs. We are grateful to be in ministry together with you, our community. You can give at stlukesumc.com/give.

ORDER OF WORSHIP Prelude

Welcome & Call To Worship | Rev. Rob Fuquay Leader: Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, All: yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. Leader: But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; All: the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. Leader: We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way. All: and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Hymn | #292 - What Wondrous Love Is This? Litany of Remembrance | Rev. Mindie Moore Leader: Let us remember Jesus: Who, though rich, became poor and dwelt among us. Who was mighty indeed, healing the sick and the troubled. Who, as a teacher to his disciples, was their companion and servant. All: May we be ever grateful for Jesus the Christ and what he has done for us. Leader: Let us remember Jesus: Who prayed for the forgiveness of those who rejected him. And for the perfecting of those who received him. Who loved all people, and prayed for them even when they denied and rejected him. Who hated sin because he knew the cost of pride and selfishness, of cruelty and hatred, both to people and to God. All: May we be ever grateful for Jesus the Christ and what he has done for us. Leader: Let us remember Jesus: Who humbled himself and was obedient unto the cross. God has exalted him and given us new freedom. All: May we be ever grateful for Jesus the Christ and what he has done, and continues to do, for us. Scripture Reading | Luke 22:39-54 | Rev.
