LEADER: I waited patiently for the Lord, who inclined to me and heard my cry.

PRELUDE Chaconne in G Minor | Louis Couperin Charles Manning, organ

WELCOME & PRAYER OF INVOCATION Rev. Eric Burton-Krieger (8 & 9:15AM)

ALL: The Lord drew me up from the desolate pit,

out of the miry bog, set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.

LEADER: The Lord put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.

Rev. David Williamson (11AM)

ALL: Many will see and be in awe, and put their trust in the Lord.

* HYMN Great Is Thy Faithfulness | No. 140

Refrain: O Lord, do not withhold your mercy; Let your steadfast love preserve me.

* CREED Rev. David Williamson All: We are not alone, we live in God’s world. We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit. We trust in God. We are called to be the church: to celebrate God’s presence, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God.

* GLORY TO GOD Glory be to the Father and to the Son, And to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. World without end. Amen. Amen.

* GREETING ONE ANOTHER SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM (9:15 & 11AM)

* OFFERTORY PRAYER SCRIPTURE | Job 2:11-13 Patty Waller (8AM) Audrey Nace (9:15AM) Santana Jackson (11AM) Now when Job’s three friends heard of all these troubles that had come upon him, each of them set out from his home—Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. They met together to go and console and comfort him. When they saw him from a distance, they did not recognize him, and they raised their voices and wept aloud; they tore their robes and threw dust in the air upon their heads. They sat with him on the ground seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his suffering was very great.
